Die Vergessenen der Geschichte

The Bastogne War Rooms feature a series of poignant paintings by Marie-Elise, an artist whose work is inspired by both painful memories of her childhood and the highlights of the Battle of the Bulge commemorations.

Through her work, she pays tribute to the often forgotten figures of history, notably the Amerindians and African-Americans who fought in the Second World War.

Exhibition open free of charge at the Bastogne War Rooms, until March 31, 2025.
